Currently three trails are documented: Willingdon Beach Trail area, Penticton trails, and near the South entrance to Duck Lake Road.
Look out for these WW signs marking the trails.
PRCA is part of the Outdoor Recreational User Group that is forming a trail plan for the area. We are working with the various user groups to come up with a trail list and working towards trail designation and a maintenance agreement with the government. PRCA has submitted a list of trails that we would be willing to enter into a management agreement.
We were able to get over 350 kilometres of trails GPS by Chris Laing and his crew this year. This data will be used to produce a detail local trail map. We have been working on a mountain bike trail guide and once we have some of the data will produce the guide for PRCA members.
I will post a sample early in the new year, so stay tuned. I have photos of a number of the trails and I am looking for other good photos that you have taken! So if you have good ones get them to me, rondiprose@shaw.ca, preferably with the PRCA Jersey!
