WWCC Beginner routes and trail descriptions

To date, the Wild Women have marked three beginner mountain biking routes for your DIY enjoyment!

The trail descriptions are listed below. For the newest of the newbies, the Wild Women would recommend starting with the Willingdon trail, moving next to the Happy Face trail, and then on to the Penticton route. Although the trails are well-marked, we would recommend printing out the trail descriptions to take with you on your rides. Although these are ranked as "beginner," remember that "beginner" does not equate to "perfectly flat with no hazards." If you're feeling unsure about certain terrain, dismount the ol' metal steed and walk a bit.

Plans are in the works for more routes to be marked.

DISCLAIMER

This is the part where you acknowledge that when you step foot or stroke pedal into the wilderness, your safety is your responsibility. Mountain biking is inherently unpredictable and challenging. While the Wild Women have tried to mark each trail as clearly as possible, occurrences out of our control – vandalism, inclement weather, animal behaviours, natural tree life cycles, user error, etc - may render the trail navigation imperfect. Please cycle with a buddy and within your ability.
